July 4th Block Party

On July 4th we held our 2nd Annual Roadrunner Street Block Party Pancake Breakfast. We were a little better organized this year with a larger committee of neighbors and more help. We probably had about 25 families show up. Jane invited the missionaries who wisely kept it very low key and just got to know a few people a little bit. Maybe in a few years people will get so used to seeing them that they'll not be afraid to talk to them. Here are a few pictures.

It was SO dirty hot at the breakfast, but it turned out really good. We'll have to get some of our pictures uploaded too.

Wow! I am exhausted just looking at all the exciting events happening in the Guthrie family. What a great summer for you guys. I want to know what you all did for the 4th of July weekend besides the breakfast. Didn't you have lots of family visiting?
